Njawara Agricultural Training Centre is a non-governmental organisastion established and run by the Njawara community for the purpose of training farmers in sustainable agro-forestry techniques to improve farm production and profitability while promoting sustainable natural resource management. Concurrently, it is believeed that these initiatives will improve the social well being of the beneficiaries by promoting gender equity, income generation, self employment, food security and by curbing the rural urban drift trend which is a clear manfestation of hardship in rural Gambia. NATC has been operating as a registered NGO since 1997.
